Dream prayer bead
Tiina KristofferssonHand crafted Dream prayer bead is designed to help calming down during prayer mediation
The idea to make the Dream prayer bead came from a woman who told she had become exhausted at work and lost her ability to sleep during the night. After she meditated with a prayer bead during the evening, her mind became calmer and sleep returned to her.
The Bible includes many narratives about people who God speaks to via dreams. For example young Samuel, who God was trying to awaken a few times before the boy realised who was talking to him. As we meditate, we can repeat Samuel’s words to God: “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
The Dream prayer bead's 29 beads are made from moonstone, which is also called the Ceylon opal. Three glass beads have been added between the moonstones, with beautiful floral patterns and a thick silver foil inside. Placed in the centre of the Dream prayer bead, the handcrafted heart comes from a metal artist from Arkansas. Two polished pink glass beads are a result of Czech craftsmanship. The howlite cross comes from a Greek artisan.
